I want you to meet Jude. Jude loves the Bengals and the Reds and loves to play with his brother and two sisters. Recently Jude was diagnosed with stage 3 Burkitt Lymphoma. Burkitt lymphoma is a rare but highly aggressive (fast-growing) lymphoma. This young boy needs our help. After going to the pediatrician for what was thought to be a returning stomach bug, Jude found himself that same day at the hospital with him undergoing emergency surgery to remove 2 masses and part of his bowels. They confirmed that it was cancer the next day, and two days later gave the official diagnosis of Stage 3 Burkitt's Lymphoma. Jude will need a 3-4 month inpatient stay at Cincinnati Children's Hospital to undergo chemotherapy treatment.
